Performance, Safety & Retained Value
Subaru genuine service is focused on the performance, safety & retained value of your car, and it’s these elements that really set a Subaru service apart from a regular one. When you pick up your car afterwards you‘ll notice that your invoice is divided into these three key areas.

The Performance
During any scheduled service, Subaru technicians focus on preserving and enhancing the performance of your car by completing a factory-approved comprehensive performance checklist. This checklist includes the performance of your engine, steering and transmission, which means your service may include replacing your engine oil and oil filter, replacing spark plugs, rotating your tyres and replacing your transmission fluid.

The Safety
Another focus of your scheduled service will be on preserving and enhancing the safety of your car by completing a factory-approved comprehensive safety checklist. This checklist includes the safety of your brakes, exhaust system, suspension and electrical system, which means your service may include replacing front brake pads, inspecting exhaust for security and leaks, replacing front wheel bearings and checking headlight operation.

The Retained Value
By servicing your car at an authorised Subaru service centre using Subaru genuine parts, you get more than just peace of mind. You’ll also have the reassurance of a full Subaru service history to further help safeguard the ongoing value of your investment.

What is the price to service my car?

Every make and model has different requirements. We will provide you with a quote for your vehicle before we proceed with your service. During your service, if this quote changes or we discover issues which were not initially apparent, we will contact you to discuss. For some manufacturers, there is also capped price servicing. Capped price servicing means that the maximum cost of each scheduled service is capped across the dealer network, so regardless of which dealer you service with, the price will be the same. Since each service requirement is different though, the cost of each individual service will vary depending on the size of the service and the work carried out, but will still be capped across the dealer network. If you are not sure if your car has Capped Price servicing, please contact us.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, cash and bank transfer. Cheques are no longer accepted.

Do you have a courtesy bus?

Yes we offer all customers a courtesy bus to assist you in where you need to go after you drop your vehicle off provided it’s within town limits. We can also arrange to pick you up once your vehicle is serviced.

Why do you recommend regularly servicing your vehicle?

To maintain Manufacturer warranty requirements.

  • To save you money by predicting repairs before component failure and breakdown.
  • To maintain the safety of your car for you and your passengers.
  • To improve fuel economy.
  • To reduce running costs.
  • To improve running efficiently and greenhouse emissions.
  • To extend the life of the car and promote smoother driving.
  • Maintain a good resale value.

Do I need to service my car before I sell it?

Whilst there is no requirement, rule or law that says you must service your car before you sell it, it might be something you want to consider. It may increase buyer confidence knowing you’ve recently invested money into servicing the car.

Do I legally need to get my car serviced regularly?

There is no legal requirement in Australia to get your car serviced regularly, or even at all. It is, however, in your best interest to do so.

How long does a service take to do?

Service times will vary due to the manufacturer’s recommendations, though a regular service would have an estimated time of 1.5 hours and a major can take around 4 hours to complete.

What makes and models do you service?

We service all makes and models including Toyota, Mitsubishi, Subaru, KIA, Honda, Nissan, Mazda and many more.

What should I do when my check engine lights come on?

When your check engine light comes on, there could be a number of issues. It could be something basic, like a loose fuel cap, or it could be something serious.
